What To Donate/What We Collect
The Hassan Area Historical Society collects a wide variety of archival material related to the history of the Hassan, Rogers, Fletcher and surrounding areas related to its history. We will work with you to identify which materials are appropriate to donate. In some cases, members may wish to see the material before it is physically transferred.
Hassan Area Historical Society at this time is interested in collecting any and all photographs and memorabilia of Rogers, Hassan or Fletcher.
To transfer ownership of the archival materials to the historical society, we will ask you to sign a deed of gift, which includes a brief description of the material donated. The donation becomes official once it is reviewed and approved by the historical society's collection board.

Arranging, describing, and preserving collections is expensive, and often depends on grants or private contributions. We encourage everyone to consider a monetary gift to the Hassan Area Historical Society. You may be able to take a tax deduction for the donation, however, Hassan Area Historical Society cannot provide monetary appraisals of your gift. We will, however, supply you with a list of professional appraisers in the area.
